Watercolors by Rhonda

        Rhonda Barnes is a watercolor artist from Pensacola Florida who has been painting since 1994. Her watercolor career began at PJC downtown art center. Under the tutelage of Etoyle Sermons, she not only received an education but the courage and inspiration to continue her endeavors. What started out as a simple interest in learning a new craft, has developed into passion. Her sole medium is watercolor because of its  movement and beautiful translucency. Rhonda believes painting is a continual learning process. With each passing day she is taught by the medium itself.

   Her award winning work is presented at the Picasso jazz gallery in downtown Pensacola and can be found in private collections locally and throughout the U.S. She is a proud member of the

 Florida Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society.
